Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Parkland through June 8.
Burglary Conveyance
8200 block of Emerald Ave – Parkland Golf & Country Club
On June 5, at approximately 2:19 a.m., BSO responded about a delayed burglary attempt. Vehicles located at nearby houses were left unlocked, and the suspects also attempted to enter those vehicles. No video surveillance of the area where the vehicle was parked.
Burglary Residence
6500 blick of NW 78th Pl – Mayfair
On June 3, the victim left the garage door open. A box was removed containing clothing and flight equipment valued at $1,000. The victim did not wish to prosecute, only to report to their homeowner’s insurance.
Criminal Mischief
7100 Loxahatchee Rd
On June 5, a landscaping box truck was vandalized overnight while parked inside of the nursery. No suspect information. Windows smashed out, tire flattened. Pictures obtained.
Domestic Disturbance
10700 block of Estuary Dr – Cascata
On June 2, BSO was dispatched to the scene about a domestic disturbance. BSO spoke to all persons involved and found no evidence of physical abuse.
Found Property
10001 Old Club Rd – Parkland Golf & Country Club
On June 5, a security supervisor advised that he found a black purse and red wallet in the bushes inside PGCC. Items were collected and transported to Parkland Criminal Investigations.
Theft Bicycle
7671 N State Road 7
On June 6, While on patrol of the shopping center near the listed address. BSO was approached by the reporting person and victim, who alleged that his bike was missing.
