Drew has a smile of a happy dog and a puppy’s spirit.
This German Shepherd mix arrived at the Broward County shelter in September, and the staff thinks she is about a year and a half.
This sweet lady weighs 43 pounds and is good around people and other dogs. Drew had a lot of fun this month going on Lunch Buddy dates with volunteers and is learning how to ride in the car while working on her car manners (she is still slightly startled by windshield wipers).
According to Broward County Animal Care, Drew is a high-energy dog and would do well with an active human. She is very sweet and well-behaved and would make a great addition to any family.
To adopt Drew (A2217229), foster, or take a dog out for lunch, email the shelter at foster@broward.org. To schedule a meet-and-greet appointment and learn more about adoptable pets, email ACADadoptions@broward.org.
The Adoption Center at Broward County Animal Care is located at 2400 SW 42 Street, Fort Lauderdale, and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
