Residents will have an opportunity to learn more about the next phase of the Loxahatchee Road Mobility Improvements Project during an in-person “Coffee with Construction” event hosted by the Florida Department of Transportation on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
The session, scheduled for 10–11 a.m. at the Parkland Library, will offer a question-and-answer forum with FDOT representatives as they prepare to begin roundabout construction at Parkside Drive and Loxahatchee Road. The upcoming phase of work will also bring road closures along Loxahatchee Road from Parkside Drive to U.S. 441.
FDOT officials say the informal meeting will allow residents to hear directly from the project team, learn what to expect during construction, and address concerns about traffic impacts, access, and scheduling.
The Loxahatchee Road Mobility Improvements Project is a multi-phase effort to enhance safety, ease congestion, and modernize one of Parkland’s busiest and most environmentally sensitive corridors.
Residents with questions about the event or the project may contact Angel Breedlove at 786-494-6211.
