The postseason is underway for Marjory Stoneman Douglas basketball, with both the boys and girls teams competing in the District Tournament.
The Eagles delivered their most dominant performance of the season in the opening round, defeating Santaluces High School 67–38. Fourth-seeded MSD was led by Caleb VanBronkhorst and Azayvien Wilson, who each scored 14 points. Zach Story added 11 points, while Jeremiah Backer and Jonathan Lucky chipped in seven points apiece.
MSD’s run came to an end in the district semifinals, as the Eagles fell to top-seeded Coral Glades on Thursday, 71–38. The Eagles wrapped up the season with a 10–17 record.
