The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Army JROTC program is preparing to host the Raiders District Competition on Saturday, November 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This event will bring together the top teams from throughout the district. They will compete in physically demanding, team-based challenges.
The competition will determine which teams will advance to the state championships. Events test endurance, strength, leadership, and cooperation. Families and friends are encouraged to attend the event, according to Colonel Mark Anders, the JROTC instructor.
“It is important for all cadets to be physically and mentally strong. Our recent accomplishments are having all our varsity teams placing in the top three in all recent Raiders competitions, along with participating in the state finals three times,” said Anders
