Marjory Stoneman Douglas Wrestling Wins 3rd Straight District Championship

On Tuesday, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas wrestling team continued their season with their third straight District Championship.

The Eagles have had a tremendous season so far, placing second in the Coral Springs Duals and now having six wrestlers also win individual District titles.

Rocco Duygulu, Arav Shintre, David Leiva, James Messmer, Keegan Lake, and Jackson Zajkowski took first place. Jeremy Lopez and Jacob Balk came in second, and Kevin Steinberg took third. Evan NG and Lucas Siqueira finished in fourth, with Nickolas Viana and Matt Chabus coming in fifth and RJ Meis placing sixth.

The Eagles will now compete in Regionals at South Dade on Tuesday, February 20.
