The Humane Society of Broward County seeks loving homes for two unique pets needing adoption.
First up is Reggie, a 6-year-old feline who is as charming as they come. Reggie was adopted as a kitten, but as he grew, his playful nature started to clash with the older cat in the household, leading to a tense environment.
To restore harmony, Reggie’s owners have made the difficult decision to rehome him.
Reggie thrives on attention and would be happiest as the only cat in a home where he can receive all the love he craves. This affectionate fellow loves to rub his head against your legs, curl up in your lap, and play with crinkly cat toys.
He’s also a big fan of catnip, so stock up. Provide Reggie with a cat scratcher, and he’ll not only use it but might even nap on it. Reggie is ready to bring his unique charm into a new family.
Next is Flip Flop, an adorable 9-week-old puppy full of energy and curiosity. Weighing just 8.5 pounds, this spunky pup is still growing and loves chewing on shoes, so her future family will need to keep those well out of reach.
Flip Flop is one of several puppies currently available for adoption at the shelter. She is looking for a family ready to guide her through puppyhood with lots of love and patience.
If you’re interested in meeting Reggie (ID 594724), Flip Flop (ID 687542), or any other pets, the Humane Society of Broward County invites you to visit their website at www.humanebroward.com to complete a pre-adoption application.
Afterward, stop by their location at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312. Adoption kennels are open daily from 11 a.m., and their vaccine clinic operates Monday through Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. (no appointment necessary). For additional information, you can contact the shelter at 954-989-3977 ext. 6.
