Information & Non-Criminal Incidents
Information
• Sept. 2021–Nov. 3, 2025 — Two adults reported investing $35,000 in a business called “Medical Greens,” described as a pot farming operation in Michigan.
• Nov. 18 — A father reported his juvenile daughter missing; she was located safely at MSD.
• Nov. 18 — A man reported receiving nine calls from the Broward County Jail believed to be from his incarcerated wife, despite an active injunction.
• Nov. 18 — Report taken after a juvenile was initially believed missing; she later returned home without incident.
• Nov. 19 — A woman reported $3,000–$4,000 in damage to her vehicle while in a car wash.
• Nov. 20 — A husky wandered onto a campus and was turned over to animal control.
• Nov. 20 — Deputies assisted Coral Springs PD with a battery investigation originating in their jurisdiction.
• Nov. 20 — Information report taken with no crime disclosed.
• Nov. 22 — Juveniles caused a disturbance using a noise-making pop gun while driving recklessly; parents were notified.
• Nov. 23 — Caller requested extra patrols after juveniles reportedly blocked an intersection and impeded traffic.
• Nov. 24 — Domestic non-crime incident after a woman made an obscene gesture toward her estranged husband’s cameras; no altercation occurred.
Domestic Disturbances (Non-Crime)
• Nov. 17 — Dispute over car keys; husband took keys to prevent wife from driving after drinking.
• Nov. 18 — Boyfriend used girlfriend’s vehicle to go to the hospital; incident deemed civil in nature.
Suspicious Incident
• Nov. 18 — Anonymous caller reported “six shots fired.” Deputies canvassed the area; no suspicious activity found. Call believed to be a possible swatting attempt.
Threat Assessment
• Nov. 18 — Assessment conducted on a juvenile male. No criminal charges.
Fraud Cases
• Nov. 18 — A man reported a fraudulent credit account opened in his name with a $6,138 balance.
• Nov. 22 — A man lost $1,420 after sending Zelle payments to a scammer posing as a friend on Facebook Messenger.
Burglary & Property Crimes
Burglary Residence — Estimated Loss: $25,300
• Nov. 18 — Unknown suspect(s) entered a home through an unlocked door, ransacked an upstairs bedroom, and stole approximately $20,000 in jewelry from two safes.
Burglary Conveyance — Estimated Loss: $518
• Nov. 18–19 — A black Lincoln was entered via unlocked doors; a black tote bag containing $218 was stolen.
Baker Act Incidents
• Nov. 19 — Woman transported for evaluation after expressing suicidal intent to a Social Security agent.
• Nov. 22 — Woman at Wawa on State Road 7 taken for evaluation due to behavior posing a threat to herself or others.
Death Investigation
• Nov. 18 — Adult female found deceased inside her home after family was unable to contact her. Death classified as unattended; no foul play noted.
Arrests
Warrant – Domestic Battery
• Nov. 18 — Jasmine Everly Newman, 19, arrested on a warrant for domestic battery.
Touch or Strike/Battery – Domestic Violence
• Nov. 21 — Dante Etienne Plasencia, 21, arrested and charged with domestic battery.
