Information Reports
Sept. 9 — A 16-year-old female at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School suffered a head injury. Coral Springs Fire Rescue responded to the scene.
Sept. 9–10 — A student made a threatening statement. A student concern form was completed.
Sept. 9–10 — An information report was generated for documentation purposes.
Sept. 10 — Deputies responded to a Fortify Tip regarding a juvenile’s social media post about the Charlie Kirk shooting, blaming Democrats.
Sept. 10 — A German Shepherd was found along Holmberg Road. The dog was reunited with its owner after deputies posted on social media. No neglect suspected.
Sept. 12 — Deputies responded to a child custody dispute. Neither parent could produce the custody agreement, and both were advised to obtain documentation.
Sept. 12 — An adult male surrendered his firearm and ammunition at the Parkland District office after being served a restraining order.
Sept. 15 — A 17-year-old female passed out at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Coral Springs Fire Rescue responded.
Sept. 15 — A resident reported that an unknown Hispanic female walked into his Pine Tree Estates home, left her belongings on the kitchen table, took a nap on his couch, and left a few hours later without taking anything.
Auto Theft
Sept. 9 — A resident reported his 2017 Mercedes S550 stolen from his driveway between 3:45 and 3:55 p.m. The vehicle’s SunPass transponder last pinged entering the Sawgrass Expressway at 4 p.m.
Fraud
Sept. 9 — A Meadow Run resident reported being scammed into buying three gift cards totaling $750 after receiving text messages that appeared to be from his employer.
Battery / Domestic Violence
Sept. 9 — Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in Parkland between a husband and wife. No weapons were involved. An adult female was arrested for battery.
Suspicious Person
Sept. 10 — A park ranger reported a suspicious male walking around the soccer fields at Pine Trails Park. The man, who suffers from a mental health condition and claimed to be a CIA agent, was released into the custody of his parents.
Property Damage
Sept. 11 — A BSO vehicle sustained minor damage when struck by an exit gate at Somerset Parkland Academy. The incident was documented with photos and video.
Domestic Disturbance (Non-Crime)
Sept. 15 — A woman reported her brother made verbal threats during a phone conversation but said she did not fear for her safety. Deputies documented the incident as a non-criminal domestic disturbance.
Arrest
Sept. 9 — Nidanur Loveless, 26, was arrested in Parkland on a misdemeanor charge of touch or strike battery/domestic violence.
