Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through March 11, 2024.
Information was reported on 03/07/2024. The caller advised that she has been harassed on Instagram by her students from the school she works for in Boca Raton.
A victim of Auto Theft was reported on 03/08/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,250. A Toyota Tacoma was left unlocked with the keys inside. The owner was unaware the vehicle had been stolen. The car was recovered in Coral Springs.
Found Property was reported on 03/08/2024. The reporter advised that a firearm was located on the floor within a bathroom stall inside the business.
Information was reported on 03/08/2024: a civil dispute between the property management company and the mother of a recently deceased homeowner.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance was reported on 03/08/2024. The vehicle was entered via the unlocked driver’s door. No items were taken; however, the neighbor’s Florida Driver’s License & ATM card were left inside the car.
Aned Events Corp was the victim of Theft—All Other reported on 03/11/2024. The total estimated loss was $4,000. The reporting person advised that the suspect stole a bounce house from a client she rented it to.
