Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through September 6, 2021.
Battery
NW 66th Pl.
On Sept. 2, BSO responded to a report of battery (domestic violence). The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the BSO Main Jail.
State Rd. 7
On Sept. 4, there was a verbal dispute which turned physical. The parties involved in the incident were determined to be mutual combatants.
Information
Salem Ln.
On Aug. 31, the victim wanted a written report about someone supposedly harassing her by taking photos of her property.
Undisclosed Address
On Sept. 1, the reporting person advised of a female juvenile driving a golf cart that came close to his juvenile son riding his bicycle. The incident caused the juvenile to ride his bicycle up on the grass over the curb to avoid the golf cart. The driver of the golf cart and parent contacted and advised of applicable laws prohibiting the use of golf carts in the community.
State Rd. 7
On Sept. 3, the victim wished to report that a prescription was filled fraudulently without her consent at a pharmacy. She did not wish to prosecute, only to document the incident.
University Dr.
On Sept. 3, the BSO Parkland District Office received a lobby call about opening a credit card without consent.
Theft
State Rd. 7
On Sept. 1, an unknown male entered a business and stole cases of Red Bull without paying. Subject left in a vehicle before police arrived. Tot. Est. Loss: $938.
Undisclosed Address
On Sept. 3, a ring valued at $600 was reported stolen from a resident’s room on 9/1/21. Suspect is an employee currently on suspension. Victim seeks prosecution.
Arrest
Greenberg, Calyn Danielle, 39, was arrested on Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol charges on NW 66th Pl on 09/02/2021.
