Now is the time to turn your clutter into cash because your trash could be someone else’s treasure at the Parkland Library.
Residents won’t want to miss this opportunity to sell their unwanted items at the library’s community-wide yard sale.
Hosted by the Friends of the Library, the event will take place on Sunday, March 13, with all proceeds supporting specialty programming at the Parkland Library.
Each year, the nonprofit volunteer organization raises funds through memberships, donations, and book sales to support the valuable services of the library. For those living in gated communities, it’s a perfect opportunity since garage sales aren’t typically allowed.
Anyone interested in participating can rent a parking space for $35. To register, visit parklandfriends.org. Spaces are limited, and set-up time for vendors is 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. All items that do not sell will be donated to charity.
