Two vandals broke in and stole almost $500 in cash from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School vending machines and left thousands of dollars in damage in their wake.
Armed with a drill and hammer in hand the vandals arrived round 2:30 a.m. in early November. The two males, who appear to be in their early 20s, entered the Parkland campus through the back of the school. They’re seen in surveillance video using the tools to break into six vending machines spread throughout the school’s lower level. The damage to those machines is estimated at more than $2,000.
The suspect who operated the drill has long dreadlocks, while the suspect with the hammer wore what appears to be a lanyard with a flashlight attachment around his neck.
