Incoming middle school students can get a sneak peek at their new stomping grounds in this annual event to help take away some of their nerves.
Students attending Westglades Middle School’s “Camp Wolf Pack” will participate in activities to get them acquainted with the campus. At the same time, their parents meet Principal Matthew Bianchi and mingle with the Parent Teacher Organization members.
Since many of last year’s sixth-graders never set foot on campus, this is also an opportunity to learn more about the school.
Students in any grade level are invited to get to know teachers and meet friends. They can choose between two sessions on August 10: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Each session will include a swag bag and a sweet treat for $25, and space is limited. Registration for Camp Wolf Pack begins on July 1 at Westgladesmiddle.com.
Westglades Middle School serves both Coral Springs and Parkland students and is located at 11000 Holmberg Rd.
