A body was discovered inside a car found submerged in a Parkland canal Monday, authorities said.
According to the Coral Springs–Parkland Fire Department, a report of an accident led crews to the canal at 10900 NW 78th Place shortly after 11 a.m., where divers found the body inside a submerged vehicle.
Authorities did not provide the gender of the dead person who was removed from the car. The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
Additional information was not immediately available Monday.
