Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through February 13, 2022.
Gas Line Break
A construction crew accidentally broke a natural gas line while working on a property on Bastille Circle W on 02/10/2023.
Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts
A victim of Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts on Kalmar Circle N was reported on 02/17/23. The total estimated loss was $40. Victim advised that the registration decal on her 2017 Lincoln Continental was missing from her vehicle.
Fraud – All Other
A victim of Fraud – All Other was reported on 02/13/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,700. The victim stated that a driver`s license in his name was fraudulently obtained from FLHSMV, then used to cash a $700 check and withdraw $2000 from his Chase account.
Battery
A victim of Battery on NW 73rd Steet was reported on 02/08/2023. The victim advised that he had a physical altercation with his boss while working.
Arrests
Bickis, Thomas Jacob, 33, was arrested on a charge of Warrant/ Trespass After a Warning at NW 61st Avenue on 02/11/2023.
