The Parkland Little League is hosting a winter baseball clinic on Tuesday, December 21.
Open to children of all ages, the free clinic will be held at Terramar Park on fields 1 and 2, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Players should bring a bat, helmet, and cleats to participate.
“We thought it would be a good opportunity for the kids while they’re on winter break to hone their skills and have some fun,” said Cara De Meo, Little League President.
Plus, if anyone has been doing some winter cleaning, there will also be an equipment donation drive on the same evening. It’s a chance to clean any old baseball equipment out of the garage – bats, cleats, catcher’s gear, etc. Any donations will be accepted regardless of participation in the clinic.
Players should RSVP for the clinic by Tuesday at noon.
Terramar Park is located at 6690 West Hillsboro Blvd in Parkland.
