Prepare for an astronomical adventure as the Parkland Library presents an out-of-this-world dome planetarium show.
The event, which will take place on Monday, July 15, features the expertise of Kyle Jeter, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School’s astronomy teacher.
The planetarium show, “Adventure Under the Stars,” will take place in an inflatable dome provided by the Space Camp at FAU. Participants will enjoy an afternoon of education and exploration of some of the night sky’s most prominent stars and constellations.
There will be two sessions to accommodate different age groups. The first session at 4:00 p.m. is designed for children aged 8 to 11, while the second session at 5:00 p.m. is for teens and adults aged 12 and up. The presentation will last approximately 20-30 minutes.
The event is free, but space is limited (or is it?!), so early registration is recommended.
You must have a Parkland Library Card to register. Register online here or call (954) 757-4207 to secure your spot.
