Lala and Cooper {Humane Society of Broward County}
Two special pets await their chance for a new beginning at the Humane Society of Broward County.
Among them is Lala, a charming brown tabby with mesmerizing green eyes. Known for her engaging personality and love for interactive play, Lala is a delight to anyone she meets.
At six years old, she has mastered the art of communication, often “talking” to her human friends through gentle purrs and meows, especially when indulging in treats or enjoying the comfort of a warm lap. Lala’s affectionate nature makes her an ideal companion for anyone looking to add a furry member to their family.
Not far from Lala is Cooper, a handsome polka-dotted dog with a story of his own. At the same age of six, Cooper finds himself seeking a new home due to changes in his previous family’s circumstances.
Despite his confusion and the stress of shelter life, Cooper’s amiable and energetic disposition shines through. He has shown to be friendly towards small dogs, though his playful instincts may lead him to chase cats and iguanas. Cooper is house-trained and would thrive in a vibrant, active household that can provide the quiet and stability he needs.
The 2024 VCA Walk for the Animals committee generously covered both Lala’s and Cooper’s adoption fees, easing prospective adopters’ financial concerns.
Interested individuals are encouraged to visit the Humane Society’s website to complete a pre-adoption application. The shelter, located at 2070 Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale, opens its doors daily at 11 a.m. Potential adopters can reach out to the shelter staff at 954-989-3977 ext. 6 for further inquiries.
