This month’s Movies in the Park is the 2019 live-action remake of Aladdin. It follows a street urchin named Aladdin as he falls in love with Princess Jasmine, befriends a wish-granting genie, and battles the wicked sorcerer Jafar.
Join the community as the city transforms the Park into its own local movie theater with an 18-foot inflatable movie screen and delicious hot popcorn while supplies last. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, pillows, and whatever is needed to get comfortable under the stars.
The movie will take place on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 8:00 pm at the Pine Trails Park Amphitheatre, 10561 Trails End, Parkland, FL 33067.
The event is free to attend, and those interested in sponsoring it should contact Nathaly Espinosa at nespinosa@cityofparkland.org. To check for updates or cancellations, contact the Special Events Hotline Recording at (954) 757-4215.
