Bootsie and Sniffany {Broward County Animal Care}
Broward County Animal Care has named Sniffany, a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, and Bootsie, an 11-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, as this week’s featured adoptable pets.
Sniffany (A2426509) was found as a stray in Tamarac in May. Although she was never reunited with her original family, she is ready to find a new one. She enjoys long walks, playtime, and games of fetch, but is equally happy to relax and cuddle after a day of activity.
Bootsie (A2420369) was surrendered to the shelter when her owner lost housing. Initially shy and withdrawn, she has since warmed up and now enjoys zoomies, fetch, and companionship. Shelter life has begun to take a toll on her, and staff hope she finds a home soon.
Bootsie is housetrained, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Thanks to The Pet Project, she will receive free food, vaccines, and reduced-cost medical care for life.
Both dogs are available for adoption or fostering at Broward County Animal Care, 2400 SW 42nd St., Fort Lauderdale. All adopted pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. The only cost to adopters is the $25 Broward County registration tag.
