Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through January 30, 2022.
Burglary Residence
A victim of Burglary Residence at NW 71 Court was reported on 01/30/2023. The total estimated loss was $438,550. The victim stated unknown person(s) entered through the rear sliding glass door.
Recovered Auto
A victim of Recovered Auto on NW 124th Terrace was reported on 01/25/2023.
The owner of the stolen motorcycle located his vehicle on Facebook marketplace. The owner made contact with deputies at the Parkland District for possible recovery.
Auto Theft
A victim of Auto Theft was reported on 01/29/2023. The total estimated loss was $8,085. The victim stated that his vehicle was taken when the key fob was left inside the car.
A victim of Auto Theft was reported on 01/29/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,450. The victim stated the vehicle was taken from in front of her residence. The key fob was left inside the car.
Burglary Conveyance
A victim of Burglary Conveyance was reported on 01/29/2023. The total estimated loss was $325. The victim stated that unknown suspects entered her vehicle and removed her key fob, which was left inside.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance on Passage Way was reported on 01/30/2023. The victim said her 2022 BMW M850i was burglarized.
Arrests
Salemo, Nicholas Carleton, 43, was arrested on a charge of Warrant on NW 87th Avenue on 01/26/2023.
