In a display of community spirit and athleticism, runners and supporters gathered for the annual Parkland Dash event at Pine Trails Park.
Held on October 8, the event featured an impressive turnout of 660, resulting in the collection of approximately $11,100. The prime beneficiaries are SOS Children’s Villages and five Broward County Public Schools in Parkland.
This year’s run included three distinct race categories. Participants could choose from: A 5K run, equivalent to 3.1 miles, a 5-mile run, and a one-mile walk/run.
Parkland Dash 5K winners:
