Westglades Middle School has announced a special event for incoming middle school students.
Current fifth graders and their parents are invited to a Showcase Night on Thursday, January 23, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Westglades Auditorium, where prospective students can visit the home of the wolves to see if it’s a good fit.
The interactive, informational evening was developed to provide parents and children the opportunity to learn what the Parkland-based middle school has to offer.
Both parents and children can meet teachers, administrators, guidance counselors, and tour the campus.
Students will learn about various clubs, athletics, electives, and extracurricular activities. At the same time, moms and dads can meet members of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and find out how to get involved.
