Despite going to a decisive Game 3, the North Broward Prep hockey team was crowned District Champions following their win over Cypress Bay High School.
The Eagles, who have several players from Parkland, trailed early in Game 3 Wednesday night. However, they rallied to win 6-3 to improve their record to 20-3. NBP previously won Game 2 9-5 at the Florida Panthers Ice Den in Coral Springs.
Next, the Eagles will have a bit of time to practice before playing in States later this month as former NHL player Ray Shephard coaches the team.
