Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through March 21, 2022.
Airboat Accident
15800 Loxahatchee Rd.
On 03/18/2022, Florida Airboat Tour and Loxahatchee Airboat Tour FL had an airboat accident with 14 individuals involved. A few injuries, but nonlife-threatening.
Battery

On 03/18/2022, an argument between a couple turned physical. The suspect grabbed the victim and threw her to the ground., then struck the victim with his hands and a backpack while the victim was on the ground. The suspect and victim have resided together as a couple for five months.
Burglary Conveyance
NW 65th Dr.
An unknown subject entered the victim’s vehicle on 03/17/2022 and stole a black bag containing a laptop. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,000.
Fraud
S. Blue Spring Dr.
On 03/18/2022, a worthless check bounced on a refund check from a patio screen company.

On 03/16/2022, reporting person advised that his wife confronted a male juvenile for urinating in public in front of her residence. Male juvenile cursed at his wife and dropped his pants, flashing her his buttocks. The male subject was identified, and contact was made with his mother, who was informed of the incident in the juvenile’s presence.

On 03/17/2022, a civil dispute was reported between a homeowner and a salesman who works for a roofing company.
Trespassing Arrest
NW 75th Place
On 03/20/2022, deputies responded to a neighborly dispute in Whittier Oaks. The victims stated their neighbor Ursula Corgosinno, 57, was harassing them by ringing the doorbell numerous times, yelling at them, and videotaping them. Deputies contacted the neighbor and explained to her that her neighbors did not wish to speak with her and wanted her trespassed from their property. A trespass warning was filled out. The neighbor was later seen walking on the victim’s property and arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest due to her attempting to kick and spit at a deputy.
Arrest
Emilien, Ewood Rene, 21, was arrested on charges of Aggravated Battery Offender Knew or Should Have Known Victim Pregnant on Holmberg Rd on 03/18/2022.
